Gnome Icon Theme

Thanks mostly to the work of the brave italian pixelpusher Lapo Calamandrei, the gnome icon theme is getting close to full coverage of the naming spec. Thank you Lapo, you’re a rock star!

Over the past few days (maybe weeks) I’ve been writing a tool to check icons against light/dark background and coverage against the trunk version of the name spec. It still has a few issues, but it’s doing most of what I wanted it to.

Wow! I’m really impressed. GNOME Icon Theme is really looking great. I love the security-low, security-medium, and security-high icons.

Calum, please do. All the logic is client side, so it can be hosted on gnome.org without any issues.

Yes, the tool is very useful. On every background, the icons… they’re absolutely great. I love this theme even more than the basic Tango icons! :-) Hooray.
