Hey Daniel – I happen to have been working on OPML and RSS icons this eveni^W morning, so this one came out for free. Not that I think the symbol is meaningful. It’s really just a coincidence I’ve had this open in Inkscape and bumped into your blog entry.
At Novell, we take everything from Redmond as the Holy Grail.

OOOOOOOH
Fantastic work !
Thanks a lot jimmac !!! Can I use it freely as mentioned on my blog ?
Can I ask you to make a special edition of that icon for me ? Let me explain : the shadow at the bottom does not fit very well when the icon is added to the contents of a web page as a clickable button…

Isn’t the Tango style supposed to discourage unnecessary reflections? On the 16×16 icon the symbol is obscured by the white line across the top.

Daniel, you probably want the 16×16 on the website canvas anyway, but I don’t think the shadow harms placement on there either. Here’s the source SVG if you want to do any tweaks.
