Portal Sold Separately

So apprently Valve will be selling Portal separately, not part of Orange box. This is one of the games I really wish was available on the Wii. If it at least ran under wine :/

    There are reports Portal works under wine as well as being already available in Steam, Valve’s online store, for about $20. On top of that there is an nvidia promo version of the game.

    While I was successful installing Steam, it locks up when trying to download any demo on my openSUSE 10.3 install.

    I can confirm that Portal is working using wine using the method shown in the link you posted in your last comment.

    Best game ever :)

    Managed to get the preview running. Whopping 6 gigs, but very fun to play, just like I imagined. Apart from the portal gun fun, the atmosphere is hilarious/scary at the same time.
