XCFs in gnome-icon-theme

I’m thinking about committing my xcfs along with the pngs into gnome icon theme. With a sane commit policy it could work out. I’m not really wanting the hackers suddenly going wild and patching icons together, but the icon library sure grew beyond the point where everything needs to be drawn from scratch (there’s almost 2500 icons in git). A lot of the icons are possible to assemble from existing parts.

Too bad we’re not using subversion already. Moving files around (which is bloody common for gnome icon theme) is such a pain with CVS.
