So I wake up in the morning into a cold, wet, rainy morning faced with a difficult decision. To go or not to go. We did fairly extensive training and my friend ursimon was all into the race.
After a phonecall with Chore we decided not to go for the mudbath. About 1100 other people decided to go. Ursi did good and ended up with a little over 2 hours for the 50km track. Still kinda feels bad it turned out this way, hopefully next time, ehm.
The good side is that I’ve never been so fit and dandy on the bike before. Tracks that were a horror are now very managable. Have to keep up the habit of cycling whenever the weather permits. I’m loving the mountains around. I’m sure I’d miss that in Prague.
