Guadec 5 is over, enjoyed it a lot. South of Norway is as beautiful as what I’ve seen of Finland. The prices are a little insane, but people are very friendly and almost everyone speaks perfect english.
GIMPcon in CCCamp03 remains unbeatable, but 04 was quite fun as well. Pippin demoed more of his video compositor, I can’t bloody wait for GEGL transition. Some essential stuff like plugin preview framework is going to go into 2.2 and is hopefully not going to take too long to happen. The tutorial we did with Tuomas didn’t go particularly well, but wasn’t a total disaster.
Overall a very enjoyable experience.
