So I’m listening to radio1 in the background, happy to hear Ulrich Schnauss followed by something that really makes me interested. And hell, it’s Orbital. Whoa man, that tune has the same warm feeling of the brilliant Kristy Hawshaw sampled Halcyon. Check out the video. Looking forwards the blue album. After reading some of the review blobs and hearing Perfect Sunrise I am feeling rather optimistic.
I sure hope not to miss the the Maida Vale broadcast on BBC Radio1 on July 28th.
What a great way to say goodbye. No wonder Orbital remains the keystone of my electronic music collection (In Sides my favourite album). Orbital was also the great motivator to try out sound compositions on my own.
That tune just got me, you know.
