The NIN frontman Trent Reznor has released the new single as a multitrack project file. Sadly it can only be fun to play with if you happen to be a licensee of Garageband, but a cool experiment nevertheless. Looking forward to hearing some mixes showing up.
The track alone isn’t anything new we haven’t heard before, but in this case it’s a bloody good thing ;).
I wonder if there are any free software projects to build a loop-based multitrack composer similar to Garageband or SonicFoundry/Sony Acid. They are cleverly hidden if they exist.
